Fall with minor head injury. On enoxaparin. Clinically well in ED with normal neuro-observations.

Subdural hematoma - subtle

Subtle increase in density and thickness of the lower falx posteriorly and left tentorium, indicating a subtle subdural hematoma. No skull fracture.
Case Discussion
This finding of trace subdural hematoma is relatively common and is unlikely to be of significance to ongoing management aside from determining duration of neuro-observation, the ward on which they are monitored and prompting review of medication.
