Presentation

Unprovoked seizure, macrocephaly.

Patient Data

Age: 4 months
Gender: Male
ct
  • acute right subdural hemorrhage with right-to-left shift
  • right subdural membrane(s)
  • bilateral extra-axial fluid collections
  • right subfalcine herniation

Case Discussion

The child underwent urgent right craniotomy with drain placement. The surgeon found thickened dura with a membrane. He evacuated clots and CSF.
