There is an intraventricular mass in the right foramen of Monro area, with cystic and solid components and small areas of calcification. There is contrast enhancement of solid component. Also, multiple calcified subependymal nodules are seen. Supratentorial hydrocephalus is noted, more on left side with deviation of septum pellucidum towards right side.

CT angiography revealed a small saccular aneurysm of the right internal carotid artery.

Case Discussion

Features are suggestive of Subependymal giant cell astrocytoma, with subependymal nodules charachteristic of tuberous sclerosis. The large size of the lesion causes supratentorial hydrocephalus, more on left side with bowing of septum pellucidum towards right side.
