Subependymoma in IV ventricle

60 y/o male with high blood pressure and headaches. Incidental finding

Patient Data

Age: 60 years
Gender: Male

The solid mass was seen in inferior of IV ventricle. Mass shows no enhancement. No obstruction was seen. 

Also, there is arachnoid cyst on left middle cranial fossa

Case Discussion

The MRI findings are strongly relevant to subependymoma of the fourth ventricle.

Subependymomas are uncommon, benign tumors which are usually small, typically less than 2cm in size
