Presentation

Left calf swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female
ultrasound

An Ill-defined swelling/mass without vascularity on color Doppler study. Multiple small shadowing foci suggestive of calcification. 

x-ray

Radiography confirms the presence of calcified foci representing phleboliths. 

mri

MRI confirmed the presence of a lobulated lesion beneath the fascia, adjacent to muscle, which is predominantly low on T1 and high on T2 with enhancement on post-contrast study.
