Sublabral foramen

The sublabral foramen is positioned between 1 and 3 o'clock anterior to the lip-bicep complex and represents the spacelocated between the anterosuperior portion ofone o'clock and three o'clock position and provides a communication between the glenoid lipglenohumeral joint and the adjacent glenoid cartilagesubscapularis recess.
It should not be confused with a sublabral recess or SLAP tear, which are also located in this region.
