Presentation

Left upper neck swelling.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male

There is a well-defined soft tissue density lesion in close relation to the left submandibular gland, which is compressed by the lesion. It shows avid heterogeneous enhancement. It arises from the antro-superior aspect of the related submandibular gland and extends into the sublingual region/space creeping beneath the mylohoid muscle. It effaces and displaces the tongue to the right.

Case Discussion

The case proved to be left submandibular salivary gland hemangioma. It is quite rare in this site.
