There is a well-defined soft tissue density lesion in close relation to the left submandibular gland, which is compressed by the lesion. It shows avid heterogeneous enhancement. It arises from the antro-superior aspect of the related submandibular gland and extends into the sublingual region/space creeping beneath the mylohoid muscle. It effaces and displaces the tongue to the right.
