Asymmetric enlargement of the right submandibular gland associated with surrounding fat stranding, edema, and multiple enlarged reactive submandibular and jugular chain lymph nodes. No detected submandibular duct dilatation or stone.

Asymmetric enlargement of the right submandibular gland showing increased internal vascularity on Doppler scan. There are associated surrounding inflammatory changes in the form of increased echogenicity of the surrounding tissues, minimal edema of the overlying skin, and multiple enlarged reactive submandibular and cervical lymph nodes. No detected submandibular duct dilatation.
Case Discussion
Findings are in keeping with submandibular sialadenitis.
