Submucosal uterine fibroid

A well-circumscribed rounded mass lesion is noted in the submucosal region of the left lateral uterine wall, returning isointense signal (cf. myometrium) on T1, T2 and post-contrast images. The features are consistent with a submucosal uterine fibroid.
Case Discussion
Submucosal uterine fibroids are the least common type (~10%) of uterine fibroids.
