Subperiosteal abscess of the orbital roof

A fluid collection with air bubbles within the subperiosteal of the left orbital roof, preseptal and lacrimal gland soft tissue swelling, eye exodeviation, proptosis, and hypoglobus are seen. Fluid and thick mucosa in all paranasal sinuses more pronounced in the left side frontal, ethmoid, and the maxillary sinus are noted.
Case Discussion
The case illustrates the non-contrast MDCT features of a rare pus aspiration-proved subperiosteal abscess of the orbital roof due to sinusitis.
