Subpubic cartilaginous cyst

Presentation

History of radial resection of vulvar cancer. On examination the gynecologist found a non-moveble pass anteriorly. Described as an 30 mm echogenic mass on ultrasound.

Patient Data

Gender: Female
mri

Subpubic cystic lesion with heterogeneous high T2 signal and low T1 signal. Faint peripheral contrast enhancement. No diffusion restriction. There are degenerative changes in the symphysis. 

Case Discussion

Cartilaginous cyst are associated with degerative changes in the symphysis pubis.
