Subretinal hemorrhage

Presentation

Decreased GCS following thrombolysis for presumed left frontal lobe infarct. Right pupil dilated and unresponsive to light. ? intracranial haemorrhage.

Age: 83
Gender: Female
CT

Acute right subretinal hemorrhage.

In addition hypodensity involving both the cortex and underlying white matter of the left frontal lobe is thought to represent an infarct. Eyes are also deviated towards-the left side- the infarct

Case Discussion

Subretinal hemorrhage is a rare complication of thrombolytic therapy.
