Subscapularis tendon tear

History of fall on ground with right shoulder trauma 1 day ago. Loss of right shoulder movements. Plain radiograph of shoulder was normal.

Patient Data

Age: 13 years
Gender: Male

There is a full thickness fluid cleft replacing tendinous part of subscapularis.

Biceps long head tendon is normal in position and echo pattern. Supraspinatus and infraspinatus tendons are normal.

Case Discussion

Findings of post-traumatic subscapularis tendon tear in a boy of 13 years.
