Presentation

Abdominal distension, urinary frequency and constipation.

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

A large pedunculated subserous fibroid with pedicle from right side of uterine fundus.

The uterus is compressed and displaced at the posterior pelvic cavity.

Case Discussion

A large pedunculated subserous fibroid (FIGO 6). The pedicle is identified by the bridging vessel sign on MRI. They may be complicated by torsion.
