Sugar coating on the top of a bakery product - the sprinkled effect illustrated which also looks a little like un-touched snow.

Sugar coating (zuckerguss) is the term used to describe the appearance of leptomeningeal metastases.
On contrast enhanced MRI and CT the tiny enhancing nodules (tumor seeding) appears like sugar coated on the surfaces of he brain or spinal cord.
