Superficial infrapatellar bursitis

Localized fluid collection with thin septa and without wall vascularity is noted superficial to distal patellar tendon.
Approximate size - 25 x 24 x 7 mm
Patellar tendon - Intact with normal echogenicity.
Hoffa’s fat pad – Homogeneous echogenicity. No mass lesion.
Case Discussion
Findings favor superficial infrapatellar bursitis.
