There is a well-defined, oval-shaped mass measuring about 10 x 22 mm in the course of the peroneal nerve superficial branch of the right leg's middle third portion distal to the fibula head.
The mass shows homogenous T1 hypo and heterogenous T2 hyperintensity with proximal and distal taillike formations.
Case Discussion
Appearance is consistent with a peripheral nerve sheath tumor of the superficial peroneal nerve.
