Age: 10
Gender: Female
  • The 3rd part of duodenum is compressed between the aorta and the superior mesenteric artery with consequential dilatation of the proximal duodenum and stomach.

Specific measurements

  • Reduced aortomesenteric distance and aortomesenteric angle measuring 4 mm and 20 degrees, respectively.
  • Normally, the aortomesenteric angle and aortomesenteric distance are 25-60° and 10-28 mm, respectively.
