- a lucent line across the distal humerus consistent with a supracondylar fracture, on AP and lateral views
- on lateral view, anterior fat pad sign (sail sign) and posterior fat pad sign indicate joint effusion

Normally, anterior humeral line should intersect the long axis of the capitellum in the mid-third. In this case, the anterior humeral line passes through the anterior third, suggesting minor posterior displacement of the capitellum.
