Posteriorly displaced supracondylar fracture of the right elbow. No acute dislocations. Prominent anterior and posterior fat pads reflecting elbow joint effusion.
Otherwise, visualized joint spaces are preserved.
Case Discussion
This represents a case of a pediatric supracondylar fracture, confirmed on an x-ray of the elbow. The treatment plan consisted of casting, calcium, and vitamin D supplementation with a three-week follow-up for cast removal.
