Fall on an outstretched arm with subsequent elbow pain and deformity

Patient Data

Age: 7 years
Gender: Male

There is an obvious supracondylar fracture with posterior displacement of the distal fracture fragment and no communication between the cotices.

This is an example of a grade IIIb supracondylar fracture.
