X-ray demonstrates a completely displaced supracondylar fracture. No dislocation or forearm fracture identified.
Case Discussion
In a case such as this it is easy to understand why supracondylar fractures can be associated with damage to the neurovascular structures in the antecubital fossa (brachial artery, median nerve).
