Fall. Now painful elbow.

Patient Data

Age: 6 years
Gender: Male

Minimally posteriorly angulated supracondylar fracture. Anterior humeral line no longer intersects the capitellum.

Case Discussion

Supracondylar fracture with minimal posterior angulation. Note how a line drawn along the anterior border of the humerus does not intersect the mid-third of the capitellum. This makes it a type IIA fracture.
