Chronic shoulder pain.

Patient Data

Age: 70 years
Gender: Male

Dense calcification of the supraspinatus tendon close to its humeral insertion without bony abnormality.

Case Discussion

The typical appearances of calcific tendinitis of the shoulder. The supraspinatus muscle of the rotator cuff is by far the most commonly involved.
