Dense calcification of the supraspinatus close to its humeral insertion.
No bony abnormality.

Case Discussion
The typical appearances of calcification tendinosis of the shoulder. The supraspinatus muscle of the rotator cuff is by far the most commonly involved.
Ultrasound and MRI may be used further in evaluation for rotator cuff pathology.
