Patient Data

Age: 65
Gender: Male

Type A dissection surgically corrected by replacement of the ascending aorta.  Creation of a graft from the ascending aorta to the brachiocephlaic and left common carotid artery origins (left common carotid origin tied off) due to involvement by dissection.  Note more distally the intima is perforated with contrast entering the false lumen.  Right kidney is small and poorly perfused due to its origin for the false lumen.
