Choking after playing with older sister. Unwitnessed.

Swallowed coin. The trachea is clearly demonstrated on the lateral film and is seen anterior to the coin which is in the esophagus.

Case Discussion

A large metallic object (a coin) is demonstrated en face on the AP view and seen in the esophagus on the lateral.
