Case Discussion

Intracranial lipomas are rare congenital malformations. They are usually pericallosal asymptomatic midline lesions. The imaging characteristics of lipomas and dermoids are similar. Tumour location, signal homogeneity of the lesion, following fat density on all sequences in magnetic resonance images can help one to distinguish lipomas from dermoids.
