Presentation
Abdominal pain and distension.
Patient Data

Focal area of luminal narrowing in the transverse colon, where there is irregular thickening of the colonic wall. There is intestinal obstruction with distension of the ascending colon and distal ileum.
There is also an intense enhancement mass into the rectum, measuring about 5.0 cm, not promoting obstruction.
Additional finding of renal asymmetry over the right kidney.
Case Discussion
The imaging findings are strongly suggestive of synchronous colorectal neoplasia. Waiting for histological confirmation.
Synchronous tumors are said when simultaneously present at diagnosis or during surgery, discarding, obviously, the possibility of contiguity.
