Presenting with swelling. History of fracture on the contralateral wrist (not shown).

Patient Data

Age: 65 years
Gender: Female

x-ray

Multiple small osteochondral bodies are seen at the radial aspect of the scaphotrapeziotrapezoid (STT) joint. The joint spaces are preserved and there is no evidence of degenerative changes. 

Case Discussion

This case illustrates a rare location of synovial chondromatosis, which is more commonly seen involving the knee.
