MR shows multiple intraarticular rounded T1, T2Fs hypointense osteochondral synovial nodules with mild joint effusion in the right hip.
Findings most suggestive with synovial chondromatosis.
There are also osteoarthritic changes on the bilateral hip joint, with multiple degenerative subchondral cysts and bone marrow edema at the joint surface of the bilateral femoral heads.
Case Discussion
Synovial chondromatosis is a benign condition characterized by nodular synovial proliferation.
