Presentation

Right hip pain 9 months. No trauma.

Patient Data

Age: 30 yrs
Gender: Female

Ultrasound

 Multiple tiny ossified bodies involving right hip joint. 

Case Discussion

Ther are multiple ossided or calcified bodies of similar size in right hip joint favoring synovial chondromatosis.

MRI will demonstrate more number bodies than radiograph, because it additionally picks up chondral bodies.
