Left temporomandibular joint effusion with numerous intra-articular bodies. Joint space is preserved. Normal right temporomandibular joint.
Case Discussion
This was an incidental finding on a CT brain performed for trauma. Synovial osteochondromatosis is a rare condition although is known to affect the temporomandibular joint.
