Synovial osteochondromatosis - TMJ

Singl sagittal proton density image through the TMJ demonstrates multiple small intra-articular loose bodies are present markedly expanding the TMJ joint capsule. These are associated with extensive degenerative change of the condyle. This, therefore, most likely demonstrates secondary synovial osteochondromatosis.
