Takayasu arteritis

Intermittent chest, abdomen and bilateral upper limb pain.

Patient Data

Age: 50 years
Gender: Female

CT findings are consistent with Takayasu arteritis.

Case Discussion

The patient, in this case, was treated with corticosteroids and methotrexate, and the disease remained stable. Repeat CT and PET two years later showed stable disease and no evidence of active disease.
