Osseous coalition of the middle facet of the talocalcaneal joint.

Talar beaking with a small amount of focal oedema, osteophytosis and irregularity at the talonavicular joint.

The tibiotalar and posterior subtalar joints are well preserved.

Case Discussion

Talar beak sign is often reported in cases of talocalcaneal coalition. The C sign is an arc from the talus around the sustentaculum tali which is highly specific when present.
