Presentation

Fever and abdominal pain for the past 3 days, after repositioning of feeding jejunostomy tube.

Patient Data

Age: 25 years
Gender: Female

Air-fluid levels in the peritoneal cavity.

A large amount of free air under the right dome of the diaphragm causing inferomedial displacement of the liver.

This is a case of misplacement of the feeding jejunostomy tube which is causing tension hydro-pneumoperitoneum, confirmed at surgery.
