Radiolucent hyperexpanded left hemithorax is noted with absence of bronchovascular markings.
Significant widening of intercostal spaces is noted.
Mediastinal shift to the contralateral side (right side) is noted.
Depression of left hemidiaphragm.
Case Discussion
The chest radiograph features are compatible with left-sided tension pneumothorax.
