Case Discussion

Patient was referred from other hospital with posterior fossa mass. MRI was conducted in our institute and reveals a posterior fossa extra-axial mass which demonstrates low SI in T1 and intermediate SI on T2 and avidly enhancing post Gad administration. The mass shows no restriction on DWI. The mass is broad based on the right tentorium cerebelli with small portion shows supratentorial extension. Characteristic dural tail sign is demonstrated on post Gad sequences. The mass was resected with histopathological diagnosis of "common transitional meningioma".
