Extra-axial left tentorial lesion, isointense to gray matter on T1 and T2 sequences, with intermediate signal on FLAIR. It contacts cranial nerves III, V and VI. Gadolinium enhancement of the lesion extends into a dural tail.
Case Discussion
Meningioma is a benign extra-axial tumor, usually asymptomatic depending on the size of the tumor and its location. Meningiomas uncommonly affect the cranial nerves. Those that are fast-growing require surgical treatment.
