Case Discussion
There is bilateral hypoplasia of the superior part of the cerebellar tentorium alongside partial bilateral occipital lobe herniation. The patient was asymptomatic and this was considered an incidental finding.
Isolated tentorium cerebelli hypoplasia is rare with only a few cases reported in the literature; tentorium cerebelli hypoplasia is usually associated with other congenital abnormalities such as Dandy-Walker malformation or Chiari malformation.
