Abdominal pain, previous CT revealed multiple enlarged lymph nodes, his physician suspected lymphoma.
Patient Data
FDG avid left testicular mass with SUV max 14, the mass isn't seen by conventional CE-CT.
Increased FDG uptake by left supraclavicular node and multiple enlarged abdominal lymph seen at the para-aortic and left iliac lymph nodes, likely metastatic. (SUV max 30 at the left para-aortic nodes).
Increased FDG uptake (SUV max 4) by left upper lobe para cardiac small pulmonary nodule, metastatic.
Case Discussion
PET-CT findings are impressive of metastatic left testicular primary cancer with metastatic pulmonary nodule, left supraclavicular and abdominal metastatic lymph nodes.
Testicular tumor was missed at the conventional CE-CT scan.
Awaiting histopathology.
