Testicular rest adrenal tumours

Case contributed by Sook Chin

Presentation

Known background of congenital adrenal hyperplasia with fertility issues. No palpable lump of the testis.

Patient Data

Age: 25
Gender: Male
Modality: Ultrasound

Multiple predominently hypoechoic lesions present in both testis, the largest conglomerates are close to the mediastinum testis. These lesions show increased vascularity.

Case Discussion

The presence of these lesions in both testis with the clinical history of CAH would support the diagnosis of testicular adrenal rest tumours (TART).
