Presentation

Goalkeeper had a footballer's knee thrust into his groin.

Patient Data

Age: 30 years
Gender: Male
ultrasound

The right testicle (not shown here) is of normal size and echotexture and shows normal arterial flow.

The lower part of the left testicle is enlarged with a distorted border and there is discontinuity of the tunica albuginea - signs of testicular rupture.
