Presentation

Left sided weakness.

Patient Data

Age: 20 years
Gender: Male

Abnormal serpentine hypo/hyperdensity involving the right thalamus.
Moderately dilated lateral and third ventricles.

Right thalamic lesion with a complex mixture of hyperintensity and hypointensity due to turbulent flow, mainly appreciated on T2W images. 

Post-contrast and MRA sequences increase the conspicuity of the arteriovenous malformation.
