Referred by her G.P. for a chest x-ray query pneumonia. Background history of hypertension and diabetes.

CT Angiogram Aorta

The descending aorta is calcified and ectatic.There is a fusiform focal aneurysmal dilation of the descending aorta, especially noted on the lateral view.

Thoracic angiogram

CT Angiogram of the thoracic aorta. There is a descending aortic aneurysm with a maximum diameter of 6cm x 7 cm. The remained of the aorta is normal. There is a dialted left atrium.
