Thoracic aortic aneuyrsm
Frontal

Markedly dilated thoracic aorta, involving the arch and descending aorta.
Heart size upper limit of normal. Lungs clear.
Case Discussion
A thoracic aortic aneursym is less common than an abdominal aortic aneurysm.
Ectasia (unfolding) of the aorta is often identified incidentally in the elderly population and a more common cause of thoracic aortic dilatation.
