Previous thoracic aortic dissection with endovascular repair.

Patient Data

Age: 45 years old
Gender: Male
X-ray

Median sternotomy,

Thoracic aortic stent.

Cardiomegaly.

Case Discussion

Aortic dissection is a life threatening condition.

It is divided into Stanford type A and B.

A growing number of dissections, especially Type B, are treated with an endovascular aortic stent placement.
