Both lungs are well aerated and free of infiltrates.
In the mediastinum, a triangular opacity of the right of the mediastinum (thymic sail sign).
Normal osseous structures.
Case Discussion
The x-ray study (frontal chest radiograph) shows a normal thymus, The thymic sail sign is a triangular structure is seen to the right of the mediastinum, which is created by the right lobe of the thymus abutting the minor fissure.
